Macmillan Cancer Support named official charity partner of Tribourne Multisport Events

Macmillan Cancer Support has been named the official charity partner of Tribourne Multisport Events in 2023. The partnership will give triathletes the opportunity to support people living with cancer by joining Team Macmillan and raising funds for the charity.

There are currently over 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, and this number is expected to grow to almost 4 million by 2030. Macmillan Cancer Support provides vital support to people with cancer, including financial and emotional support. However, the charity relies on donations to continue its work.

Triathletes can support Macmillan by signing up for a charity place on the entry form for a Tribourne event and committing to fundraise. There are a limited number of discounted Macmillan fundraising entries available, which save 50% on the full entry fee. Alternatively, those who have already secured their own place in a Tribourne event can set up a fundraising page and raise funds for Macmillan.

All Macmillan supporters will receive support from Macmillan’s specialist triathlon team, including an online welcome pack with advice on training and fundraising. To set up a fundraising page and get started, visit JustGiving and follow the simple steps.

By joining Team Macmillan and taking part in a Tribourne event, triathletes can help support people living with cancer and make a real difference to the lives of those affected by the disease. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support a worthy cause and sign up today.
